Cookie Walk to benefit Women's Guild
MIFFLINTOWN -- The annual Christmas Cookie Walk and Bazaar, sponsored by the Women's Guild of St. Jude Thaddeus Church, in Mifflintown, will be held from 9 a.m. .to noon Saturday, Dec. 9, in the church social hall(or while supply lasts). Purchase a pre-filled container of delicious homemade Christmas cookies for $12. Shop for unique Christmas gifts from a selection of homemade candies and a White Elephant table.
Doors open at 8 a.m. Come early and join us for a free cup of hot coffee.

Musicians to perform Advent concert
LEWISTOWN -- The Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 E. 3rd St, Lewistown, will present an Advent Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, in the church sanctuary. Musicians from the church, community and Mifflin County High School will share music of the Advent and Christmas seasons.
Refreshments will be offered after the concert. A free will offering will benefit the LUMINA Center.
