The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.

Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.

• Thanksgiving Meal -- New Life Church, 101 N. Beech St. in Burnham will be partnering with Calvary Lewistown, 111 E. Third St. New Life Church will be delivering or providing a meal to be picked-up on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday Nov. 23. Take-out will be available for pick-up between 10 a.m.-noon. Shut-ins can receive free delivery in Lewistown, Burnham, Yeagertown, Reedsville and Milroy. Calvary Lewistown will be providing meals for pick-up or dine-in. Take-out will be available for pick-up between 10 a.m.-noon. Dine in is from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday Nov. 23.
