The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.

New, homemade and slightly used Christmas items and holiday decorations. Artificial trees, wreaths, lights and more. Baked goods, apple dumplings, party mixes and desserts. Order soup by the quart: beef vegetable and ham and bean. Also, frozen homemade ready-to-bake mincemeat and caramel apple pie. Mincemeat pie filling also available to preorder. •Community meal — 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., fellowship hall, Pine Glen Church of the Brethren. Menu includes stuffed meatloaf, gravy, scalloped potatoes, corn, rolls and a pumpkin dessert. Eat-in only.
