Minor injuries reported in two-vehicle crash
MIFFLINTOWN -- A two-vehicle crash on Oct. 16 in Juniata County resulted in minor injuries.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, a Ford Excursion driven by a 17-year-old male from Mifflintown failed to yield the right of way to a Chevrolet Impala driven by 28-year-old Shawntai Garrett-Davis of Millerstown. The mishap occurred at the intersection of Route 35 and Stop Plaza Drive in Fermanagh Township.
The drivers of both vehicles escaped injury. A passenger in the Chevy Impala, 45-year-old Tammy Straub of Cocolamus, reported minor injuries. She was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Vehicle strikes deer in Thompsontown
THOMPSONTOWN -- The driver of a Mercedes-Benz C300 was not injured when his vehicle struck a deer just after 4 a.m on Tuesday.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident took place on William Penn Highway near Wert Drive in Delaware Township.
Driver escapes injury when car strikes deer
MEXICO -- A Bellefonte man escaped injuries just before 7 a.m. Tuesday on when his Ford Taurus struck a deer on Route 22/322 near Center Road in Walker Township, Juniata County. The driver told Pennsylvania State Police he could not avoid the collision.
One injured in Snyder County accident
MIDDLEBURG -- A 27-year-old Middleburg man was injured as a result of a two-vehicle mishap Oct. 18 in Franklin Township, Snyder County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove, Domenic Haines sustained an injured right shoulder when he was struck by the side view mirror of a Chevy Silverado driven by 87-year-old Larry Zechman of Middleburg. The incident occurred as both vehicles were traveling on Paxtonville Road. Haines was transported to Evangelical Community Hospital. Zechman was not injured.
