Man on probation arrested
LEWISTOWN -- A York man was arrested for a probation violation after being pulled over on the corner of Franklin Avenue and West Fourth Street at about midnight Monday.
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown said 36-year-old Scott Horseman was pulled over when driving a 1996 GMC Sierra and was found to be under the influence of drugs. He was also found in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
The report states that Horseman was found to be operating the vehicle with an ignition interlock license that was not equipped with ignition interlock.
Horseman was held at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility
Police investigating stolen cell phone
THOMPSONTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report of a stolen cell phone at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17 from a Nancy Drive residence in Delaware Township.
Investigation is still ongoing.
Orbisonia man charged with DUI
MIFFLINTOWN -- A 35-year-old man was arrested Monday after being pulled over on U.S. 22 east, Fermanagh Township.
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown said they conducted a traffic stop on Michael Kellog, of Orbisonia, who was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and that he was found to be under the influence of drugs.
Kellogg was arrested and charged for driving under the influence.
Police investigating damaged vehicle
THOMPSONTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an incident that occurred between 5 and 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 on Fishing Rod Road, Delaware Township.
According to the report, Trevor Ornorf, 31, of Thompsontown, walked onto the road and damaged another individual's vehicle by throwing an object at it
The investigation is ongoing.
Deer killed in Honey Grove crash
HONEY GROVE -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown investigated an incident that occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 27 in which a deer ran in front of a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox.
According to the report, 44-year-old Paul Pigeon, of Ickesburg, was traveling on state Route 75 south, near Route 850, Tuscarora Township, Juniata County, when the deer ran out from the right side of the roadway. Police said the vehicle impacted the deer and was disabled from the impact.
The deer was killed as a result of the incident. No other injuries were reported. East Waterford Fire Company and Lack-Tuscarora EMS assisted at the scene.
