LEWISTOWN -- A McVeytown woman was jailed after police said she stabbed her boyfriend during an argument.
Justice Elaine Blessing, 27, was arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge on charges of aggravated assault and related offenses.
According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, police responded to the report of a domestic dispute on the 200 block of South Spruce Street at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday in which the female, Blessing, had fled the scene.
At the same time, police responded to the report of an individual at a nearby gas station appearing to have been stabbed.
Police said Blessing denied stabbing the man, stating that she didn't "own a knife."
The report states that a small metal knife was found in plain sight at the residence where the stabbing was reported to have taken place.
Blessing is being held in Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bail. She is awaiting a preliminary hearing set for 9 a.m. Wednesday.
