Police respond to theft
MIFFLINTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the report of a stolen Coach handbag, valued at $600.
Police said the bag was reported stolen from Pebble Drive, Fermanagh Township, at about 5 p.m. Sept. 5
Also taken was a makeup bag, valued at $120.
Police are investigating.
Police respond to Port Royal crash
PORT ROYAL -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place at about 10:40 p.m. Sunday on state Route 74, Turbett Township. According to the report, a 1998 Nissan XS driven by 18-year-old Jordan Dickinson, of Loysville, was traveling southbound on Route 74. When the driver was negotiating a left hand curve, they could not see due to the fog and proceeded to travel off the roadway. Dickinson struck a guide rail and came to a final position of rest against a guide rail. No injuries were reported, and the driver was cited for the incident.
