Harrisburg man cited for striking motorcycle
MIFFLINTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the report of a crash on Cuba Mills Drive at about 1:20 p.m. Sept. 4.
According to the report, a 2023 Honda Rebel, driven by 35-year-old Ashley L. Yoder, of Mifflintown, was traveling west in the westbound lane, directly behind a commercial box truck driven by 24-year-old Yamir A. Cordova Baez, of Harrisburg. Cordova Baez was making a residential delivery and came to a stop in the westbound lane in front of a driveway.
The report states that Cordova Baez began backing up in the lane, without checking for traffic stopped in the lane behind him, striking the motorcycle that came to a stop in the lane.
The report says Yoder fell off the motorcycle as a result and sustained minor injuries.
Cordova Baez was cited.
Man injured in McAlisterville crash
McALISTERVILLE - Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a one-vehicle accident that occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Sept. 6 on Town Ridge Road, Fayette Township.
The report states that 19-year-old Kobe Bonnell, of Thompsontown, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for treatment.
The 2015 Kia Sorento that Bonnell drove was towed from the scene by Gray's Towing.
Woman faces harassment charges
PORT ROYAL -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a disorderly conduct disturbance that occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on Parker Street, Mifflin Borough.
According to the report, an unnamed 41-year-old woman went to a 21-year-old man's residence, causing a disturbance by inciting a fight and striking another person in the face.
The woman was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.
Couple involved in domestic disturbance
LEWISTOWN - Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report of a verbal domestic altercation around 4:30 p.m. Friday on Three Locks Road.
The report states that it was determined on scene that a 41-year-old woman and 27-year-old man were in a physical altercation. Both individuals were placed into custody pending charges.
