MIFFLINTOWN -- The Friends of the Juniata County Library are hoping to raise awareness and create walking billboards at the same for their organization.
That's why they are holding a t-shirt sale until Saturday, Sept. 30. Each t-shirt, which is available in a variety of colors, sports the Friends' logo on the front, along with their name and the slogan, "Just one more chapter." The design features an open book in front of a mountain range.
"We had a shirt sale in 2022 in March and April," said Deb Chambers, chair of the shirt sale committee. "In that sale, 114 t-shirts were sold. I think if we had a goal that would be it or more."
Organizers looked for designs online and added the Friends of the Juniata County logo.
T-shirts - either with short or long sleeves - are available, along with crew neck sweatshirts, hoodies and ¾ quarter zip. Colors include white, red, black, navy, maroon, forest green, orange, royal blue and gray.
The t-shirts, crew necks and hoodies are also available in azalea (pink), gold light blue, safety green, Irish green and purple.
Shirts are available in sizes small through 4 XL. The cost of t-shirts is short sleeve t-shirt: Small-XL $15, 2XL-4XL $18; long sleeve t-shirt: Small-XL $20, 2XL-4XL $23; crewneck sweatshirt: small-XL $21, 2XL-4XL $24;
hoodies: small-XL $25, 2XL-4XL $28; ¾ quarter zip: small-XL $25, 2XL-4XL $28.
