MIFFLINTOWN -- Juniata Commissioners had their weekly meeting Tuesday morning and appointed Juniata County Commissioner, Alice Gray, to serve on the Board of Directors of SouthCentral LEO.
Commissioners also approved executing the Chief Elected Official Agreement as well as approving and executing the Chief Elected Official and Local Workforce Development Board Partnership Agreement.

Projects and allocations for Federal Fiscal Year 2023 CDBG funding as presented.
Submission of Juniata County's FFY 2023 CDBG application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
Fair Housing and the 504 Officer resolutions as they pertain to the federal fiscal year 2023 Community Development Block Grant.
Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Juvenile Probation Services Grant Agreement as recommended by Michelle A. Beaver, Chief Probation Officer. The grant award, which is in the amount of $31,097.00, terminates on June 30, 2024.
Fiscal Year 2022-2027 Supervision Funds Agreement as recommended by Michelle A. Beaver, Chief Probation Officer. The term of the agreement is for July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027.
Hiring of Jay Borman as casual, part-time 911 Telecommunicators within the 911 Communications Center as recommended by Allen Weaver, emergency management agency director. This position is classified as part-time at less than 1,000 hours per year and, as such, does not qualify for any benefits including membership in the County's Retirement Fund as outlined in the Juniata County Employees Retirement System Plan. Wages will be as per the current bargaining unit contract.
