LEWISTOWN -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Mifflin and Juniata County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for today through Friday, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas
Mifflin County
Bridge Repair:
• State Route: 2001 (Long Lane Road)
Sign Repairs and Upgrades:
• State Route:
Various Routes Pipe Replacement:
• State Route: 4001 (Reedsville to Back Mountain Road)
• State Route: 4006 (Milroy to Barrville)
Pipe Flushing:
• State Route: 22 (Mount Union County Line to Jacks Mountain Road)
• State Route: 4007 (Jacks Mountain Road)
The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:
Juniata County
Bridge Replacement:
• State Route: 2012 (Leister Valley Road)
Sign Repairs and Upgrades:
• State Route: 74
Trench Patching:
• State Route: 235 (Seven Stars Area)
U Drain:
• State Route: 1003 (Tennis Park Road)
The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting: HRI, Inc. – Bridge replacement project spanning Locust Run along Route 3002 (Old 22 Road/Main Street), about two miles west of Thompsontown in Walker Township.
State Route 3002: The contractor has closed the road at the intersection of Old 22 Road/Main Street and Route 2007 (Locust Run Road.) Traffic is detoured onto Route 22 via either Route 75 at the Port Royal interchange or Route 333 at the East Salem/Thompsontown interchange.
