The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.
Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.

• Free Garden to Table Event -- 6 p.m., June 27, 1 Jim Tunall Dr., Lewistown (next to Mifflin County Library). Meet with other gardeners and share gardening experiences. The event is part of the Garden to Table workshops sponsored by Community Partnerships and United Way of Mifflin-Juniata.
• Juniata High School Class of 1973 50th year reunion-- Reunion is Saturday, July 15 at the Annsfield Estate, Mifflintown, from 4:30 p.m.-11 p.m. Cost is $38.50 per person and must be paid in advance. Call (717) 436-2024 for more information.

Attendees will visit farms that used best management practices to prevent nutrient and sediment pollution. Sponsored by Snyder County Conservation District. Reservations required.
