MILROY -- A McClure man was killed in a vehicle rollover in Armagh Township Sunday afternoon.
According to a release from the Mifflin County Coroner's office, Jacob Thomas Underhill, 19, of Wagner Road, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred about 3:20 p.m. in the area of 4861 New Lancaster Valley Road, Armagh Township.
Deputy Coroner Andrea Alcade noted in the report that the cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma.
According to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown, the incident occurred when the 2006 Lexus driven by Underhill was traveling westbound on New Lancaster Valley Road.
The report states that the driver lost control of the vehicle when it crested the hill and Underhill drove off the south side of the roadway. The vehicle continued eastbound through the wooded area, striking multiple trees until it came to final rest on the driver's side.
The report states that Underhill was wearing a seatbelt and that front, side and curtain airbags deployed. Underhill had to be extricated from the vehicle by Bannerville Fire Company.
