Borough promotes streetscape campaign

LEWISTOWN -- The Borough of Lewistown will participate in a promotional streetscape banner campaign conducted by Community Showcase Banners.
The program is expected to brighten and invigorate downtown Lewistown. The banners are designed exclusively for Lewistown and will showcase the community's economic vitality and the support for local businesses.
As part of the initiative, the Borough is allowing local businesses and organizations an opportunity to be featured as Borough sponsors, where each of the sponsor businesses will be recognized by having their business's logo artwork featured on the bottom third of the Borough banner(s).
Each of the businesses participating may choose the Borough street lamp(s) they prefer to have their banner(s) displayed.
Banner display areas include East Market, North Main, West Market, South Brown, West Water, South Dorcas and North Brown streets.
