Fire destroys home

Zach Lingle, the assistant fire chief for Decatur Fire Co., said there were no known injuries from the fire and that the Pennsylvania State Police fire marshall has been called to investigate the cause of the blaze. The fire was first reported to emergency dispatchers at 4:31 p.m. Decatur Fire Co. was assisted on scene by Burnham, Chief Logan, Yeagertown, Reedsville, Milroy, United, City Hook and Ladder, Junction, Granville and West Granville fire companies as well as Fame EMS.
