COVID deaths reported in Snyder, Perry counties

Snyder and Perry County were the only two counties to report COVID-19 related deaths out of the five local counties according to data release Thursday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Mifflin County reported 19 new cases. The county has now had 5,014 cases of COVID-19 and 176 deaths. There are 10,974 people fully vaccinated and 3,316 people partially vaccinated.
Juniata County reported only four new cases Thursday, putting its totals at 2,022 cases and 82 deaths. There are 4,836 people fully vaccinated and 1,785 partially vaccinated in Juniata County.
In Snyder County, 9 more cases were added in addition to one death to the total which now stands at 3,474 with 83 deaths. In Snyder County, 8,019 people are fully vaccinated and 3,961 are partially vaccinated.
Huntingdon County had 10 new cases for a total of 4,789 cases with 128 deaths. A total of 11,513 are fully vaccinated while 2,500 are partially vaccinated in Huntingdon County.
Perry County reported 6 new cases in addition to one new death for a total of 3,534 with 97 deaths. There are 7,225 people fully vaccinated while 7,259 are partially vaccinated in Perry County.
Currently, Mifflin County has a total of eight COVID-19 patients hospitalized. In Huntingdon County, two COVID-19 patients are hospitalized. No Huntingdon or Mifflin County COVID patients are currently using a ventilator or are in the adult ICU, according to the health department
