¯Public drunkenness -- 5:53 p.m., March 14 -- Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 17 Chestnut St., Lewistown. Police said it sounded like three or four people fighting. Upon arrival to the scene, police said 52-year-old Veryl Leo Woy, of Lewistown, was exiting an apartment. Police made contact with Woy on the sidewalk and reported he was highly intoxicated and admitted to having an altercation with others in his apartment. Police said Woy had an odor of marijuana coming from him. Police said Woy attempted to return to his apartment during questioning and put up a significant resistance when told to stop. Police said Woy fought with officers before being taken into custody. Police said they found him in possession of a quart-sized bag of marijuana and glass pipes. Woy was taken to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
¯Traffic crash -- March 16 -- Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Valley and Walnut streets in Lewistown. Police said the driver of a maroon Chevrolet Cavalier was headed eastbound on Valley Street crossing the intersection of Walnut Street when the driver of a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee was headed westbound on Valley Street and took a left turn onto Walnut Street, causing the Jeep to crash into the Chevrolet head-on. The Chevrolet sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Both drivers were cited.

¯Theft -- 11:26 a.m. March 21 -- Police investigated an incident in which 32-year-old Kenneth Hosler was observed wielding a knife in Mifflintown Borough. He was transported to Mifflin County Correctional Facility for an active warrant. Police say he had stolen a shovel with a multicolor handle valued at $25 from a Mifflintown resident.
¯Missing firearm -- March 20 -- A 73-year-old McVeytown man reported he lost a firearm on Hawstone Road in Granville Township between 9:30 a.m. and noon on March 20. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (717) 320-1010.
¯Public drunkenness -- 2:11 p.m. March 21 -- Police responded to Terrace Boulevard in Juniata Terrace Borough for a report of a female who was very intoxicated, walking onto neighboring porches and falling down several times, hitting her head and neck. Charges against the 35-year-old woman from Lewistown have been filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller's office.
¯Crash -- 7:02 a.m., March 19 -- Police said a 2018 Jeep Compass driven by 23-year-old Tucker S. Sheetz, of Milroy, was traveling north on New Lancaster Valley Road in Armagh Township when he crossed over into the southbound lane and struck an embankment on the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole before reentering the roadway and coming to rest in the southbound lane facing north. Police said Sheetz fled the scene, was later contacted and told police he did not sustain any injuries in the crash. He was cited for failure to immediately notify police of a crash.
¯Crash -- 3:40 p.m. March 9 -- Police investigated a one-vehicle rollover collision on state Route 655 in Menno Township. Police said a 2005 Toyota Tacoma driven by 61-year-old John M. Zook, of Belleville, was towing a trailer which began to swerve back and forth. The trailer traveled off the eastern side of the roadway and down an embankment, causing both the trailer and the Tacoma to roll over. The pickup struck a road sign as it rolled over. Zook suffered a suspected minor injury at the crash, but was not transported from the scene. Zook was cited for failure to have registration or certificate of title as required.
¯Disorderly conduct -- 9:30 p.m. March 20 -- Police were dispatched to the Dollar General Store in McAlisterville for a report of a male who made comments toward an employee. 45-year-old Michael Coudriet, of McAlisterville, was cited for disorderly conduct through Magisterial District Judge Tracy Powell Markle's office.
¯Warrant -- 5:16 p.m. March 2 -- Police conducted a traffic stop of a 2017 Toyota Tundra driven by a 24-year-old man from Orange, Texas along U.S. 22/322 in Walker Township. Police discovered the driver had a full extradition warrant out of Texas and was taken into custody. The driver is awaiting extradition.
¯Crash -- 11:51 p.m. March 19 -- A 2014 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 18-year-old Keli M. Zimmerman, of New Bloomfield, was headed east on U.S. 22/322 just east of Pfoutz Valley on ramp in Delaware Township when a deer entered the roadway. Zimmerman was not able to avoid striking the deer, causing disabling damage to her vehicle, which was towed from the scene. Zimmerman was wearing her seat belt and was not injured.
¯Drug possession -- 8:14 p.m. Feb. 23 -- Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Walker Township Park. Upon making contact with the 2006 Honda Civic Del Sol, drugs and paraphernaliawere found. Charges are pending.
¯Theft by deception -- 12:04 p.m. March 18 -- In Turbett Township, an unknown person used the personal information of a 51-year-old from Port Royal to apply for unemployment compensation benefits. The investigation is ongoing.
¯Harassment -- 8:51 a.m. March 20 -- Police said 30-year-old Jessica Plank, of Lewistown, made threatening statements to 30-year-old Nathan Hudson of Lewistown as they were yelling at each other from inside their Decatur Townshp apartments. Plank was cited for harassment.
¯Theft by deception -- March 5 -- Police said a 54-year-old man from Mifflintown reported a balance of approximately $500 on a closed credit card account from years ago.
¯Residential burglary -- 8 a.m. March 7 to 3 p.m. March 13 -- Police said sometime between 8 a.m. March 7 and 3 p.m. March 13, someone removed $20 worth of quarter from the 5th Street residence of a 68-year-old Port Royal man. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (717) 320-1010.
¯Theft by deception -- 4:31 p.m. March 18 -- Police received a complaint from a 47-year-old Mifflintown man that someone had made a fraudulent application for unemployment benefits in his name. The incident was referred to the state investigative unit.
¯Theft -- midnight Oct. 1, 2020 to 9 a.m. March 5, 2021 -- Police are investigating the theft of approximately $650 worth of 2 RC modified stone stolen during the listed time frame. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (717) 320-1010.
¯Criminal trespass -- 8 a.m. March 6 -- Police are investigating a trespass incident along Jinnes Gap Run in Turbett Township. Charges were not filed and the district attorney has declined prosecution.
