Lewistown library to be closed until Saturday, Feb. 27

Miriello: Employee tested positive for COVID-19

LEWISTOWN – The Lewistown branch of the Mifflin County Library will be closed until Feb. 27 after an employee at the library tested positive for COVID-19, MCL Executive Director Susan Miriello announced Thursday.

Miriello urges anyone who visited the Lewistown branch on Feb. 8 or 9 who feels ill to get tested for COVID, as they may have come into close contact with the COVID-positive employee.

The Kish branch in Belleville will remain open as normal.

Miriello said no fines will accrue for loaned materials during the closure.
