The Sentinel's newest limited-edition hardcover book, "Keeping the Faith: Churches of the Juniata Valley," is now available for pickup.
Since The Sentinel's customer service office is currently closed, it is requested that all pre-order customers call The Sentinel before picking up. For those who pre-ordered and paid for the book, pick-up hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays at The Sentinel office.
Customers can call (717) 248-6741 either prior to arriving at The Sentinel or from the parking lot, and The Sentinel customer service staff will confirm your order and place your book in the foyer with your name on it.
Please note that The Sentinel's office hours may be adjusted Wednesday and Thursday due to the weather forecast, so customers should be sure to call ahead those days.
"Keeping the Faith: Churches of the Juniata Valley" is the 11th limited-edition book published by The Sentinel, and features more than 30 local churches in Mifflin and Juniata counties. Included within the profiles are stories related to the roots of these churches, as well as historical photographs.
For those who have not yet ordered the book, purchases can be made by calling The Sentinel or buying online by clicking the banner on the Sentinel's home page. The book is $24.95 plus Pa. sales tax if picking up at The Sentinel, or $30.90 plus tax if having the book shipped.
