BELLEVILLE -- Two Belleville residents, two from Huntingdon and one from Mill Creek face charges as the result of an investigation by Mifflin County Regional Police, according to a release from MCRPD Chief Andre French.
Two of the five remain at large, police said.
Regional Officers, with assistance from multiple other law enforcement agencies, converged on a residence at 401 E. Main St. in Belleville on Oct. 9 after Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon inquired about possible illegal activity at that address, the release states. Officers located various drugs, drug paraphernalia, items associated with the sale and distribution of illegal drugs and currency, according to police. Regional Officers applied for and were granted a search warrant for the residence and surrounding structures, police said, then sent confiscated contraband to the PSP laboratory in Harrisburg for analysis.
As the investigation evolved, Regional Officers learned of active warrants for several subjects residing at this location. Throughout October and November, Regional Officers, in cooperation with the Mifflin County Drug Task Force, continued their investigation into the trafficking and use of controlled substances in the Belleville area.
In late November, Regional Officers received the results from the laboratory. Various items containing concentrated THC (schedule I controlled substance), methamphetamine (schedule II controlled substance), buprenorphine (schedule III controlled substance), tramadol (schedule IV controlled substance), and zolpidem (schedule IV controlled substance) were identified.
As a result of these findings, Regional Officers filed charges with MDJ Jonathan Reed's office. Those charged are:
¯ Tracy L. Barlett, 47, of Belleville, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Adulteration / Misbranding of a Controlled Substance.
¯ Jason A. Grubb, 38, of Belleville, charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
¯ Robert C. Lear, 43, of Huntingdon, charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
¯ Tabitha L. Renninger, 42, of Huntingdon, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
¯ Ethan G. Worthy, 22, of Mill Creek, charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
