One man was taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital with moderate injuries after being extricated from his automobile following a one-vehicle crash late Wednesday morning along state Route 655 in Brown Township near the intersection with U.S. 322. Mifflin County Regional Police Department said the driver, whose name has yet to be released, exited U.S. 322 West at the Reedsville/Belleville interchange shortly before 11:30 a.m. and for unknown reasons did not slow down, passed through the intersection and struck the median before his Audi Quattro collided with a steep rock embankment. In addition to MCRPD, Reedsville and Yeagertown fire companies, Milroy EMS, Fame EMS and Armagh Township Police Department assisted on scene.
