¯ Act 64/DUI — 5:57 p.m. — May 22 — Garett Gorby, 20, of McAlisterville, was stopped by troopers at a traffic stop at 1 Block Valley, Lewistown Borough, where upon investigation it was discovered Gorby was under the influence of a controlled substance. In addition, Gorby had a controlled substance on his person as well as drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
¯Burglary — 7 p.m.-6 p.m. — June 6-June 9 — An unknown suspect used force to enter the shed belonging to Mark Steel, 56, of Newtown Hamilton at Residence Front Drive, Newtown Hamilton. The suspect removed fish jigs and fled the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
¯False reports — 5:50 a.m. — May 6 — Shawna Snyder of McVeytown, reported that at 266 Overlook Drive in Oliver Township, her boyfriend had physically assaulted her. It was then discovered that Snyder had made false allegations and the incident was fabricated. Snyder was charged with criminal complaint through district court.
¯Cruelty to animals — A 46 year-old female of McVeytown was accused of cruelty to animals on Greenbriar Road in Wayne Township.
¯Harassment — 12 p.m. — May 17 — A harassment incident occurred at 131 Dormantown Road in Decatur Township, between Warren Gilbert, of Milroy, and Michele Norris, of McClure. Charges were filed through a non-traffic citation through district court.
¯Criminal mischief — June 2-June 13 between 3:15 p.m.-4:48 p.m. — The Fermanagh Mifflintown Elementary School reported that windows were damaged at the school by an unknown suspect. This investigation is
ongoing.
¯Unauthorized use of motor vehicle — 8:30 a.m. — June 3 –An 83 year-old male of Shippensburg asked Hillary Renee Vogt to park his vehicle in the parking lot of Juniata High School. Insteadm Vogt removed the vehicle from the parking lot and drive it to the Shippensburg Area. The suspect will be charged through district court.
¯Criminal mischief — 10:30 p.m.-8 p.m. — June 8-June 9 –An unknown suspect damaged the flag pole belonging to someone at South Main Street, in Milroy Borough. After damaging the pole, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
¯Access device fraud — June 8-June 9 –An unknown suspect gained access to debit cards belonging to Fred Shellenberger, 66, of Mifflin, and Danielle Shellenberger, 56, of Mifflin, and made several ATM withdrawls. This investigation is ongoing.

¯Crash –1:42 p.m. — June 19 — A crash occurred on Route 35 in West Perry Township between Anna Beachel, 56, of Thompsontown, and Lisa Derr, 47, of Richfield. Derr was standing in the westbound travel lane waiting to turn left, when Beachel struck the rear end of her vehicle. Beachel and Derr both had a suspected minor injury, and Beachel was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
