Laura Hannon, shown on Floor 5B of Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital in April 2021, is an "Everyday Hero." Hannon is an RN on the Oncology and Surgical Med floor. Hannon is a hero because of her dedication and calling to take care of others. She shows genuine patience and kindness even when others are not at their best or being frustrated about having to be in the hospital. She sees good in everyone and is always willing to help others whether it is a patient, a co-worker or a family member. Laura is respected and loved by those around her. She is truly a hero because she is unassuming, never looks for recognition, but she is a truly amazing nurse while being the best mom, wife, sister, daughter and grandmother.
