As the area’s oldest funeral home, King-Barr Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. has been managed by six consecutive generations since 1841. The present Owner and Supervisor, Stephen D. King, and his staff pride themselves on their personalized services and maintained facilities.
This past year, King-Barr has made several changes to even better serve the community. The newest addition to the staff is Victoria Krouse, who serves as a funeral director and certified life celebrant. The Funeral supervisor is Stephen King, whose father, Doug King had worked in the area as a funeral director for more than 30 years prior to his death in 2013.
Located at 120 Logan Street in Lewistown, the facility has a tastefully decorated and maintained exterior and interior. The funeral home has undergone renovations to its entire interior including the visitation room and chapel.
The Chapel seats up to 125 people, and the facility is equipped with a modern crematory on site. King-Barr Funeral Home offers pre-arrangement planning, traditional funerals and cremation services, as well as financing to help you remember your loved one’s life and legacy.
