Colorful, lush planters lining Market Street in Lewistown this summer are the result of efforts made by participants in the first Downtown Lewistown Adopt-a-Planter program hosted by the Borough of Lewistown and the Juniata Valley Master Gardeners. Lisa Knudson was the recipient of the Jim Tunall Award, and the planter she tended at the corner of East Market and North Dorcas streets in front of the Regional Business Center, was featured on The Sentinel's Lifestyles page on Sept. 7.
