RICHFIELD -- The theme of the 2016 Dutch Days Quilt is "Down Home."

The quilt features song lyrics about being raised up down home in a small town.

The center of the quilt features fabric titled "Morningside Farm," by Darlene Zimmerman. It is a 1930s reproduction fabric.

The corners were made with a Jelly Roll, using a modified split rail pattern. Fawn and Carolyn Arndt did the design, liquid embroidery and piecing; script was by Michele Ebright.

The names were embroidered by Virginia Hornberger, Vicki Ray, Carolyn Strawser and Jane Letson. Quilting and binding was by Caroline Peachey.

The quilt includes 697 names and the dimensions are 83 by 96 inches.

The quilt is on display at the Richfield bank and will be featured in the fancy house at Dutch Days. It will be sold at the 2017 Dutch Days festival by Robert Leitzel, auctioneer, at 10 p.m. on July 15.
