LEWISTOWN -- The 32nd annual Senior Games, coordinated by the Mifflin-Juniata Area Agency on Aging, will be held June 5 to 9., at various locations in the two-county region.
The opening day will include breakfast, health screenings and information booths, and an opening ceremony at the Moose Family Center.
Mifflin and Juniata county residents who are 55 years of age or older may participate in the Senior Games. Eligibility is determined by the person's age as of June 5.
A non-refundable $5 registration fee is due by May 24, and can be mailed or dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the MJAAA office at 249 W. Third St., Lewistown. Payment may be made in cash or by check or money order made out to MJAAA Inc. Bowlers are responsible for lane fees.
T-shirts will be available on a first come, first served basis at the MJAAA office.
There will be health screenings and information booths provided by local health care providers and businesses from 8 to 10 a.m. on June 5 at the Moose Family Center. Registration in the Senior Games is not required to be eligible to participate in the screenings.
