The Lewistown High School Class of 1947's 70th reunion will be at noon on June 3 at Hoss's in Lewistown. There is no need to make a reservation, just come to the back room in the restaurant, where we will order from the menu. The Mifflin County School District Multi-Year Class Reunion will be held from 5:30 to 11 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Moose Family Center, Lewistown. Dinner will be served about 6:30 p.m. Registration fee is $20/person and includes a barbecue-style dinner with hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken and sides. Registration deadline is Aug. 5. A cruise on Raystown Lake for the Lewistown Class of 1972 reunion is planned for 10:30 a.m. Aug 13. This is scheduled the day after the multi-year class reunion to allow those out of town to attend both. Catered lunch will be provided. Cost is $25 per person. The two-hour cruise leaves Seven Points promptly at 10:30 and maximum capacity is 100. Boat has inside seating, so it will go, rain or shine. The third biannual picnic for Toll Gate Elementary School is expanding this year to include Logan Street School. The picnic will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the Yellow Pavilion at Kish Park. Anyone associated with the schools, including students, parents, bus drivers, custodians, nurses, teachers, secretaries, etc., are invited. Snacks only; water and coffee will be provided. A reunion picnic for all former students of McVeytown/Rothrock High School will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 23 in the Orange Pavilion at Kish Park.
