STATE COLLEGE -- Kish Bank has announced the appointment of Lisa Capella as vice president and senior credit officer.
In her new role, Capella will support the bank's commercial lending and credit administration operations, working alongside Tracy Wilkinson, senior vice president and credit officer. Her responsibilities will include credit risk management, commercial lending practices and service to business clients throughout the bank's market area.
Capella brings more than 25 years of banking and commercial credit experience to the position.
She most recently served as commercial credit manager and regional credit officer for Northwest Bank, where she supervised commercial and industrial credit analysts, evaluated complex commercial transactions and oversaw portfolio risk management.
Before joining Northwest Bank, Capella held credit leadership positions with Santander Bank and Omega Bank.
A graduate of Leadership Centre County, Capella has also served in several leadership roles with the Risk Management Association's Central Pennsylvania Chapter, including president, secretary, treasurer, chair of the Women in Finance Committee and chair of the Nominating Committee.
Capella earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from Penn State University through its honors program.
She also graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's School of Commercial Lending and completed the association's Compliance Academy.
