LEWISTOWN --McCardle Refuse LLC of Lewistown is a family-owned waste management company that specializes in commercial and residential waste removal for the Mifflin County area.
Owner Kevin McCardle Jr., formerly of Lewistown but currently residing in Shippensburg, plans to carry on a long tradition of family and business pride.
"I grew up in a family garbage business in the area and throughout my life I have aspired to own and operate my own business," McCardle Jr. said.
With 25 years of experience in the waste industry, McCardle Jr. and his father Kevin McCardle Sr., who has 45 years of experience, are now serving the county with its waste management needs. As the company grows, the service area will expand.
"We ensure our customers receive dependable and quality service at fair prices," McCardle Jr. said.
In addition to curbside trash pickup, the company also offers rear load container service from 2-yard to 8-yard sizes. Recycling is not available at this time.
The company's hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 100 McCardle Lane, Lewistown.
