Theme announced for 2025 PA Farm Show

HARRISBURG — The theme for the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show has been announced. The theme, “Powering Pennsylvania,” was announced recently by Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding and Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger. The Farm Show will run Saturday, Jan. 4 to Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 at the PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, 2300 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg.

Box tree moth discovered in Erie

HARRISBURG — The box tree moth, a highly destructive, invasive insect new to North America, was recently discovered for the first time in Pennsylvania in two cemeteries in Erie County. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has issued a quarantine to help businesses and homeowners recognize the insect, learn how to control it, and keep it from spreading.
