MEXICO -- We held our July meeting at Walker Grange in Mexico ( changed location because of pending storms). We had a picnic meal and discussed items concerning the 4-H Fair.
July 19 is the day to get pens ready for the Fair (sawdust in pens, put up "thank you" posters for last year's buyers. Please have your project books complete and ready to hand in to your Leader on July 19 or 20.
Our club display is on the fair theme. Please email your project pics to Hope Jacobs.
"Summer Splash" will be our theme for our club's auction basket (tub). We will be putting beach towels, candy, sunglasses, goggles, etc. in the tub.
Start inviting buyers to the sale. If your animal needs to be treated before sale time , make sure you make note of date and medication and let your leader know immediately. This year there will be a livestock skillathon.
This will test your knowledge on a variety of items related to farming and animals.
We also worked on our scrapbook pages for our club.
