UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State Extension and Cornell University will host a series of free, live webinars through April designed to update U.S. grape growers and winemakers on several timely topics.
The "Eastern Viticulture and Enology Forum Series" is a collaborative effort among the Penn State Extension Grape and Wine Team and viticulture and enology extension programs at several other land-grant universities, including Colorado State University, Cornell University, the University of Georgia, Iowa State University, the University of Maryland, Michigan State University, the University of Minnesota, North Carolina State University, Ohio State University, Rutgers University, Texas A&M University, the University of Vermont, Virginia Tech and the University of Wisconsin. Along with webinar presenters, viticulture and enology extension specialists will coordinate presentations and serve as panelists throughout the series.
The webinars are intended for vineyard owners, winery owners, vineyard managers and winemakers. All viticulture webinars will be hosted by Penn State Extension and will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. All enology webinars will be hosted by Cornell University and will occur from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
