UNIVERSITY PARK -- Members of the Juniata FFA Chapter traveled to Penn State University, June 11-13 to compete in the State FFA Convention. Over 1,500 FFA members from across the state competed in Career and Leadership Development Events. J. Charles Telfer earned a 9th place finish in the Safe Tractor Driving competition earning a bronze medal for his efforts. Conner Schlegel and Wyatt Shellenberger served as chapter delegates for the Juniata FFA Chapter. They voted on important issues affecting the state FFA board including starting a spanish creed speaking contest and providing agricultural internships for high school students. The Juniata FFA Chapter scrapbook received a 2nd place finish under the management of Gretchen Dessin.
