HARRISBURG -- Juniata County square dancers competed at the 108th Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg on Jan. 8.
This is the 27th year of the Juniata County club. Over the years, the club has had 93 sets -- 86 received blue, five received red and two received white.
There are three age categories for the competition. Division 1 is for ages under 17. Division 2 allows for dancers 15 to 25. Division 3 allows the dancers to be of any age. This year, the club had participants in each division.
Many of the Juniata County dancers competed in other Farm Show activities, showing their rabbits, goats and cattle. They also competed in events such as rabbit hopping, angorapalooza and fleece to shawl.
