Mr. and Mrs. Jared Benner

Megan Marie Shoop of Port Royal and Jared Linray Benner of Thompsontown were united as one on Aug. 8, 2020.

The ceremony and reception took place at Lily Manor in Mifflin.

Megan is the daughter of Robert and Tina Shoop of Port Royal. Jared is the son of Dan Benner of Thompsontown and Amy Benner of Newport.

The wedding party consisted of: Hayley Barnes, Olivia Shoop, Maci Kreider, Katie Marshall, Lauren Fried, Lexi Huyler, Jenna Jacoby, Dalton Rowe, Josh Shoop, Tyler Brown, Kobe Benner, Adam Harrison, Nathan Berry and Pete Evola.

Flower girls were Claire Shoop, niece of the bride, and Ella Harrison, second cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Ben Harrison, second cousin of the groom. Anna Maci Noss was guest book attendant. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Robert Graybill.

The bride is a 2014 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2018 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. She is employed by Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital as a registered nurse.

The groom is a 2014 graduate of East Juniata High School and is employed by JPH Enterprises in Mifflintown.

To celebrate their marriage, the couple will travel to Fort Myers, Florida, for their honeymoon. They reside in Port Royal.
