Semon-Schomaker

Kaela Semon, of Stroudsburg, and Justin Schomaker, of Lewistown, were married on Jan. 9, 2016, at Brookmere Winery in Belleville.

The bride is the daughter of Judy and Alan Semon, of Stroudsburg. The groom is the son of Melissa and Dan Schomaker, of Lewistown.

Amanda Burris, of Chincoteague, Virginia, was the matron of honor.

Mason Schomaker, of Lewistown, brother of the groom, was the best man.

Bridesmaids were: Morgan Cross, of Long Valley, New Jersey, cousin of the bride; Danielle Wyckoff, of Stroudsburg; and Courtney Ebner, of Muncy.

Standing with the groom were Bill Costigan, of Reedsville; Madelyn Kenepp, of Reedsville, cousin of the groom; and Bryan Semon, of Stroudsburg, brother of the bride.

Flower girls were MaryJane Hansen, of McMichael; Dorothy Stryker, of McVeytown; and Janet Schomaker, of Tatamy, grandmothers of the bride and groom.

Ring bearers were Walter Hansen, of McMichael; and Wallace Stryker, of McVeytown, grandfathers of the bride and groom.

Pastor Carola Beasley-Topliffe performed the ceremony that also included Sadie Schomaker, sister of the groom, as soloist.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and a 2015 graduate of Lock Haven University. She is employed as a Head Start teacher at SUMCD Children’s Center in Lewistown.

The groom is a 2011 graduate of Indian Valley High School and a 2015 graduate of Lock Haven University. He is enrolled in the registered nurse program at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing and is employed at Ollie’s.

They enjoyed a honeymoon cruise to the eastern Carribean, and recently purchased a home in Yeagertown.
