Kristen Weaver and Earl Hockenberry, both of Mifflintown, were married on Sept. 12, 2015, at Heart of Grace Community Church in Newport.
The bride is the daughter of Allen and Kathy Weaver, of Mifflintown. The groom is the son of Dave and Joyce Hockenberry, of Mifflintown.
The bride’s mother, Kathy Weaver, was the matron of honor and Cathrine Fultz, of Mifflin, was the maid of honor.
The best men were Dan Kerlin, of Mifflin, and Cody Arnold, of Arch Rock.
Bridesmaids were: Gwen Crouse, of Mifflin; Nicole Kitzmiller, of Mifflin, sister of the groom; Sara Landis, of Thompsontown; and Lindsey Young, of Port Royal.
Groomsmen were: C.J. Myers, of Port Royal; Matthew Kitzmiller, of Mifflin, brother-in-law of groom; Joshua Hockenberry, of Mifflintown, brother of groom; and Austin Weaver, of Mifflintown, brother of the bride.
Pastors Ken Kitzmiller and Bill Erney performed the ceremony.
The reception followed at the Reception Hall at Little Buffalo State Park in Newport.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2011 graduate of Shippensburg University. She is a substitute teacher in the Hanover area.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2011 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is employed at Codorus State Park in Hanover.
The couple lives in Hanover.
