Colleen Flynn, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Matthew Lauver, of McAlisterville, were married Aug. 23, 2014, at The Loft at Sweet Water in Pennsburg.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Flynn, of Ypsilanti, Michigan. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Lauver, of McAlisterville.
Bridget Flynn and Nancy Flynn, both of Ypsilanti, Michigan, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor.
The best man was Eric Zdankiewiez, of Norfolk, Virginia.
Bridesmaids were: Capt. Ashlee Denny, Carlsbad, California; Lt. Natalie Jenkins, Monterey, California; Cythia Thaxton, Sandy, Utah; Sara Blamey, Norfolk, Virginia.
The flower girl was Renee Cleveland, Plainwell, Michigan, cousin of the bride.
Groomsmen were: Nick Caton, Norfolk, Virginia; Dave Buscarini, brother-in-law of the groom, York; and Chris Anderson, brother-in-law of the groom, Lancaster.
The Rev. Terry Smith performed the ceremony.
A reception followed at The Loft, Pennsburg.
The bride attended high school in Cairo, Egypt. She is a 2009 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. She is employed as a supervisor of distribution asset investment strategies at PPL, Allentown.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland. He is employed as a fire protection engineer at Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Philadelphia.
Following a wedding trip ot the Bahamas, they live in North Wales.
