Sarah Stiver and Tommy Kerstetter are engaged to be married on June 17 at Laurel Rock Farms in Mifflintown.
She is the daughter of John and Barbara Stiver, of McVeytown, and the granddaughter of Sally Stiver and the late Richard Stiver, of Port Matilda, and the late Dudley and Ann Bell of Dover, New Hampshire.
She is a 2009 graduate of Lewistown Area High School, and a 2013 graduate of Millersville University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education and special education. She is employed as an autistic support teacher in the Mount Union Area School District, and as a dance teacher at Miss Stephanie's School of Dance. She is pursuing a master's degree from Penn State University in special education.
He is the son of Tom and Liz Kerstetter, of Vira, and the grandson of Dick and the late Ellie Smith, of Burnham, and Sue Royer, of Yeagertown.
He graduated from Indian Valley High School in 2008 and Bloomsburg University in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental planning. He works as an environmental inspector on pipeline projects.
