Carrie Smith, of Burnham, and Corey Wittig, of Pittsburgh, are engaged to be married on June 25, 2016, at Union Project in Pittsburgh.
She is the daughter of Donald and Cathleen Smith, of Burnham. She is a 2002 graduate of Indian Valley High School, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and English writing in 2006, and a Master of Education degree in 2013 from the University of Pittsburgh Greensburg. She teaches sixth and seventh grade English language arts at Falk Laboratory School in Pittsburgh.
He is the son of Lawrence and Sharon Witting, of Scottsdale. He is a 2002 graduate of Greensburg High School, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006 and a Master of Library Science degree in 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is employed at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
