Millers celebrate 60th anniversary

Harold E. (Gene/Slim) and M. Marlene (Kirk) Miller, of Lewistown, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.They were married on Sept. 22, 1956, at Wesley Chapel on Lockport Road in Lewistown, by the pastor of the United Methodist Church.They are the parents of a son, Brian K. Miller, and wife, Susan, of Watsontown, and a daughter, Holly D. Radel and husband, Dale, of Mifflinburg.They have three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.He is retired from New Holland Corp., and she is retired from Fisher Electronics.They are members of The Way Bible Church, McVeytown, and ...

Korbichs celebrate 50th anniversary

Steven and Donath (Mitchell) Korbich, of Lewistown, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.They were married on Sept. 3, 1966, in Shamokin.They are the parents of Kennan and wife, Kimberly, Korbich, of Barrville; and Stephanie and husband, Matthew, Conrad, of Centre Hall. They have two grandchildren, Logan and Kyle Conrad; and two granddogs, Stuffi and Rico.He is a dentist and she is a dental assistant.They are members of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lewistown.

Hartmans celebrate 60th anniversary

Bill and Edwina (Winnie) Hartman, of Lewistown, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.They were married on Aug. 11, 1956, at Trinity United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Theron Snyder officiating.The celebrated their special anniversary in June with a tour of California, and with a family dinner at the Susquehanna Harvest Seasonal Grill in Harrisburg.They are the parents of three children, Brent Hartman, Deborah Grube and Cory Hartman. They have seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.Both a retired from the Mifflin County School District.

Swinefords celebrate 30th anniversary

Brian and Quinn Swineford recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.They were married on Aug.16, 1986, in Lewistown.They are the parents of Derek Swineford and wife, Emily, of Lewistown, and Kyle Swineford and wife, Kasie, of Lewistown.They have five grandchildren: Kylinn, Aubrey, Kaleb, Deitrich and Keiton Swineford.They own their own business, Swineford's Auto Glass.They attribute their successful marriage to love, honesty and loyalty.

Nulfs celebrate 50th anniversary

Richard and Elaine Nulf, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2016.She is the former Elaine Himes, of Burnham, and he is originally from Ridgway.Family and friends celebrated at their home following a vow renewal.

Hostlers celebrate 60th anniversary

Bob and Betty Hostler, of Mifflintown, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 24, 2016, with the renewing of vows and a family picnic.They were married on July 27, 1956, by the Rev. R. L. Ditmer at the Arch Rock U.M. Church.They have four sons: Dave and wife, Shirley; Doug and wife, Robin; Frank and wife, Tierney; Casey; and nine grandchildren, Jennifer and fiance, Steve Philips, Dustin, Taylor and wife, Christina, Zachary and wife, Cassandra, Trey and wife, Kayla, Brandon and fiance, Marissa Marrone, Trent, William and Holly, and two great-grandsons, Jaxon and William.
