Duffs celebrate 50th anniversary
Patrick and Nancy Duff, of McClure, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 30 with family and friends at Country Cupboard in Lewisburg.
They were married on March 22, 1969, at Mount Bethel Church in McClure. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Elden Erhart.
They have been blessed with one child, Melissa Moyer, one grandson, Justin Mattern, and one grand-dog, which they adore, Koa.
Patrick is the son of the late John Duff and Frances (Oldt) Shafer, of Hummels Wharf. He graduated from Selinsgrove Area High School in 1963. For 32 years Patrick worked at Wood Mode in Kreamer, working as a truck driver, retiring in 2011.
Nancy is the daughter of the late Charles and Lulu (Kline) Will, of McClure. She graduated from West Snyder High School in 1965. Nancy worked at Mid-Way Mobile Homes and various restaurants as a waitress over the years.
