John and Katherine (Stewart) Hubler, of Belleville, formerly of Lewistown, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 30, 1946, in Harrisburg, by the Rev. George Johnson.
They are the parents of James Hubler, of Lake Mary, Florida, and Carol Kutchner, of State College, and have two grandsons.
John retired from Avtex after 41 years of service.
Katherine worked at Lewistown Sportswear and Brandywine in Reedsville.
They attended Evangel Baptist Church for 61 years.
The couple resides at Valley View Terrace in Belleville, after having spent 64 years of their married life at 8 Montgomery Avenue, Lewistown. June 30 also marked John’s 88th birthday.
