Paul A. and Evelyn A. (Espigh) Harshbarger recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary.
They were married on May 31, 1941, by Pastor Norman H. Uphouse, in Winchester, Virginia.
They reside in Lewistown, after living in McVeytown for many years.
They are the parents of Rodney P. Harshbarger, of Lewistown. They have two grandchildren: Amy Sward and husband, Ed, of Lewistown, and Daniel Harshbarger and wife, Brandy, of McVeytown.
Their great-grandchildren include Harlee, Drew and Matthew Harshbarger; of McVeytown; great-step-grandchildren include Jessica Small, and husband, Don, of Fort Littleton, and Justin Sward, of Orbisonia; great-great-step-grandchildren include Kaden, Taylor and Kinsley Small, of Fort Littleton.
Their 75th wedding anniversary was celebrated by having a picnic with family and friends at their residence. They enjoy sitting on their deck watching the wildlife, and also enjoy spending time with visitors.
Paul retired from the FMC Corporation in Green River, Wyoming, and is a World War II veteran. Paul and Evelyn are members of the Spring Run Church of the Brethren, McVeytown.
