The family of Gary and Esther Fultz, of Belleville, is hosting a card shower for the couple, who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, June 4, 2016.
They were united in marriage in 1966 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Centre Hall, by the Rev. Dean Rupe.
Gary and Esther are the parents of Michael and Brian Fultz, both of Belleville.
They have one granddaughter, Reece Alexis Fultz.
Gary is retired from the former Ford New Holland plant in Belleville, with 35 years of service, and spent 11 years as the Union Township zoning officer. He enjoys watching baseball and hunting.
Esther worked for HBR Singer in State College before becoming a housewife and mother, raising their two children. She enjoys flowers and puzzles, and spending time with her granddaughter.
They are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belleville.
They attribute the success of their marriage to sharing the same interests, spending time together as a couple, love and “lots” of patience.
