Dennis E. and Deanna L. (Mitchell) Reed, of Lewistown, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Aug. 14, 1965, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Milroy, by the Rev. Robert B. Harnish.
The couple celebrated their special anniversary at a party hosted by their sons on Aug. 15 at the OIP in Burnham with friends and family.
They have two sons, Dennis Gregg Reed, of Fairborn, Ohio; and Derk A. Reed, of Danville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He is retired from Standard Steel. She is retired from the First National Bank Pennsylvania.
They are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lewistown.
They attribute the success of their marriage to doing things together and being honest with each other.
