Roy and Kathryn Mateer, of Milroy, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Sept. 11, 1965, at the Presbyterian church in Milroy by the Rev. Robert Zorn.
They are the parents of three children: Lori Mateer, Amy Seachrist and husband, Shawn, and Mack Mateer. They have three grandchildren: Derek Mateer, Taylor Seachrist and Dakota Mateer.
Roy retired from Case New Holland and Kay retired from Jarden Plastic Solutions.
They have spent the past several years enjoying their retirement and spending time with their grandchildren.
