Glenn and Gayle (Solt) Bowersox, of Selinsgrove, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on April 17, 1965, at the Messiah Lutheran Church, Troxelville, by the Rev. Douglas Cromer.
A surprise 50th anniversary party was given on April 4 at the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg by their four children: Eugene and Stephanie Bowersox, of Mount Pleasant Mills; Michael and Judy Kerlin, of Middleburg; Michael and Trina Klinepeter, of Beaver Springs; and Richard and Lisa Bowersox, of Reading. They have five grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Gayle is a graduate of Chief Logan High School and is the daughter of the late Cloyd Solt and Dolores (Wagner-Solt) Rapp, who lives in Lewistown. She has worked at Boscov’s, Weis and Penn Lutheran Village.
Glenn is the son of the late Edgar and Mildred Bowersox. He attended Middleburg High School, and is retired from Wood-Mode, Kreamer.
