Jeffrey and Cathy Bitting, of 627 Chris Ave., Dry Valley, Lewistown, recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
Jeffrey and Cathy (Semla) Bitting were married on Oct. 21, 1989, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown. Father John Schmalhofer conducted the ceremony.
To celebrate the occasion, a surprise party was held in their honor by their children, Scott and Lauren Bitting, along with the help of family members and friends at the Milroy Fire House.
Cathy graduated from Lewistown Area High School in 1987 and Thompson Institute in 1989. Jeff graduated from Chief Logan High School in 1983 and Williamsport Area Community College in 1985. Cathy worked from 1989-2001 as a buyer for James F. Havice Inc. and is now employed as office manager by Keystone Human Services. Jeff has worked for more than 25 years at Collins Tool, formerly American Hickory, in Vira.
The Bittings plan to take a trip some place warm and sunny this winter as their gift to each other.
